Service Fees:
Citizenship by Descent (CBD) and Slovak Living Abroad (SLA) Full Service Consulting

Slovak Archive Document Acquisition:
Fees & Payment:
- Service fees are prepaid and non-refundable.
- We make every effort to obtain records, but archives may issue a negative response due to missing, incorrect, lost, or destroyed records.
- If a record cannot be located, we will provide proof of the request and a negative response.
- Document fee: The rates below INCLUDE the cost of one copy. Extra copies start at 7€ each, depending on the document.
Service Fees (per ancestor):
- €60 – first document from an archive
- €35 – each additional document from the same archive (for a different ancestor)
Separate archive requests:
- €60 – first document
- €35 – each additional document (different ancestor)
Examples:
- Two ancestors, same village/timeframe/year/archive: €95
- Two copies of the same record for the same person: €67
- Two ancestors, same village but different archives (generally due to different years. For example, an 1894 record held at a state-level archive, a 1900 record at a regional archive, and a 1920+ record at the local registrar. These are three different locations.) : €120
Additional Costs:
- Shipping: €67 via DHL
- Shipping can be avoided if using Iveta Červeňaková for translations; documents will be bundled and shipped once translations are completed, and you will pay shipping only once.
Additional document costs:
- Shipping of the document back to you is 67€ via DHL. This shipping cost can be avoided if you use Iveta Červeňaková for your translations, as we will hold your Slovak documents and send everything back to you in the same envelope, ensuring you only pay for shipping once.

Translation & Interpretation:
- We offer document translation services through a certified English-Slovak translator, and if applying in Slovakia, we also provide in-person interpretation services.
- Fees for these services vary by client and are not included in the consulting fee.
- These services are provided by Iveta Červeňáková, a native of Slovakia with over 30 years of experience in English/Slovak translation.

Application Submission in Slovakia:

Post‑Approval Support:
- We assist with passport issuance in Slovakia (contact Iveta Červeňáková at info@vesper-translations.sk directly for this service. Please note that you must travel to Poprad for this service, as we do not service Bratislava), EU integration, and relocation tours beginning in the spring of 2026.
